We have only been open in Leicester since May 2015 and we are well underway making some incredible progress, most notably due to the opening of our new office, in the heart of the city.
The hundreds of new colleagues who have joined us now work within our brand new, colourful and exciting office supporting our Bexhill and Newmarket offices by providing refreshingly straightforward service to all of our customers.
Following our initial launch of our Retail departments (New Business, Customer Service and Renewals), we are now introducing a new department â€˜Claims First Responseâ€™ to ensure that we are there for our customers in their time of need when they have an accident.
Claims First Responder
You'll be the first person to talk to our customers when they have had an accident! As you can imagine, our customers will want to speak to someone who is calm, controlled and knowledgeable. You'll be someone who can cope with emotional conversations, love to solve problems, be passionate about establishing facts and seeing things through.
This is a new department within our Leicester office and we are looking for people with a real passion for supporting customers, possibly with previous claims experience or can demonstrate their ability to go out of their way to look after our customer.
New Business, Customer Service & Renewals
Youâ€™ll be providing exceptional service to our new and existing insurance customers. No two calls will ever be the same and your responsibilities can vary from setting up new policies, changing details, taking payments or supporting customers through their insurance renewal.
Youâ€™ll need to be a real people â€“ person, a natural with customers with ensuring that they are at the heart of everything you do in your role. We do not require previous contact centre experience but your passion for providing a high standard of service must come across!
Your purpose is to guide and support our contact centre colleagues to ensure we provide the best service possible to all of our customers. Our Contact Centre Leaders and Team Leaders (both Retail and Claims) engage, motivate and inspire people whilst being an ambassador for Hastings Direct. Youâ€™ll ensure our company culture is embodied within our teams and the working environment whilst working collaboratively with other departments and office locations.
We are looking for people with previous leadership and management experience although this does not necessarily need to be from a contact centre. You need to enjoy influencing and motivating people whilst being a great problem solver and have an understanding how important effective leadership can be to drive performance.
